👋 Why Voyager?

We love AI chatbots, but sometimes we wish they had just a bit more structure.

That's why I built Voyager. It's a companion that helps you keep your AI conversations organized, accessible, and productive — whether you're on Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, or DeepSeek. If you're a researcher juggling dozens of threads, a developer saving code snippets, or just someone who loves order, Voyager is designed for you.

During the issue on February 18th where the Google Gemini App caused some users' historical conversations to become inaccessible, Voyager users were still able to see their saved conversations in their folders.

Powered by the Voyager Plugin Engine, these features extend your experience beyond Gemini. Turn them on in the extension popup and grant access to each site:

• 📍 Timeline: The same timeline, with starred messages and search, on Claude and ChatGPT; DeepSeek has it as an optional plugin.
• 📂 ChatGPT Folders: Organize ChatGPT conversations into folders. On by default.
• 💾 ChatGPT Export: Export a ChatGPT conversation as Markdown, JSON, PDF, or an image.
• 📐 Formula Copy: Click a formula to copy its LaTeX on Claude, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek.
• ⌨️ Vim Input: Vim-style modal editing and cursor navigation in the Claude, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek composers.
• 📖 Comfortable Reading Width: Adjust chat width for a better reading experience on Claude, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek.
• 💬 Everyday helpers: Quote replies, Ctrl/⌘+Enter to send, and a draft counter on Claude, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek; draft auto-save on Claude and DeepSeek.

🧩 Any Site — Even Localhost

Add any site in the extension popup and the Prompt Manager follows you there, local apps included. Here it is inside DeepSeek Harness running on localhost:3080:

🎨 Personalization

• 🌦️ Visual Effects: Add seasonal ambience with snow, cinematic rain, or falling sakura petals on every site where Voyager runs.
• On Gemini and AI Studio, open the extension popup, switch on Page layout → Visual effects, then pick Snow, Sakura, or Rain under the row; switch it off to turn the effect off. On Claude, ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and custom sites, the same row sits in that site's Plugins card.
• Effects are rendered as lightweight full-screen overlays and do not block page interaction.
• When you switch effects or turn them off, existing particles drain out naturally instead of disappearing abruptly.
